What it does
The Resend Tagger puts one tag on every contact left after the reply check. The tag defaults to the blast date, like no-reply-oct-14, and you can change it to anything. The button tells you exactly what will happen ("Tag 1,073 as no-reply"), and a bar shows progress while tags are added.
When it's done, open Contacts in GoHighLevel, filter by that tag, select all, and send your resend.
Why it matters
Getting a never-replied list into a sendable shape is where most manual approaches stall. You can build a spreadsheet of non-responders, but then you need to import it back, match contacts, and hope nothing duplicates. You can try a smart list, but no native filter captures "got this blast and didn't respond on any channel".
A tag is the simplest bridge. Every part of GoHighLevel understands tags: smart lists, bulk actions, workflow triggers. Once the right contacts carry no-reply-oct-14, the resend is ordinary GoHighLevel work, using your normal sending numbers and your normal compliance checks. See resending an SMS blast to non-responders for the whole flow, native and otherwise.
A tag is also an audit trail. Weeks later, you can filter by no-reply-oct-14 and see who was in that resend, or compare how many people from each blast never answered. Dated tags make that possible without any extra reporting.
How it works
- Pick a blast and let the No-reply Checker finish.
- Review the Tag to add field. Keep the dated default or type your own.
- Optionally fill Only texts containing with a phrase from the blast. That narrows the list to contacts whose text included it, useful when two different messages went out in the same window.
- Check the bottom bar: "1,073 contacts will get no-reply-oct-14".
- Press Tag. Progress shows as tags are added.
- In GoHighLevel, go to Contacts, filter by the tag (or save it as a smart list), select all, and send.
Good to know
- Tagging only. Blast Follow-Up never sends messages. Sending numbers, opt-outs and A2P 10DLC compliance stay in your hands.
- Dated tags keep blasts apart. Each blast gets its own tag, so you can tell this week's non-responders from last week's.
- Tags can trigger workflows. If a workflow starts on "Tag Added" for a tag pattern you use, tagging will start it. Pick a tag name that won't collide.
- Safe to repeat. Running the tagger again on the same blast doesn't double anything.
- Want to look first? Preview and CSV Export shows and downloads the list before you tag.
- Smart lists. Save the tag-filtered view as a smart list named after the blast, and that resend audience stays one click away for later follow-ups.
- Edit the tag freely. Any tag name works. Some teams add the offer or rep, like
no-reply-oct-14-renewals, to keep resends easy to tell apart.
Questions
Does the Resend Tagger send the follow-up text?
No. It only adds a tag. You send the resend yourself from GoHighLevel, so nothing goes out without you.
What if I tag the same blast twice?
It's safe. Re-tagging a contact that already has the tag changes nothing.
